What we have tested, and what we have not.

We would rather tell you the limits than claim a level we have not checked.

What this site does

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, and the parts below are tested rather than assumed. The testing is automated and runs against every page on every build.

  • Every text and background pair on the site is measured against the AA contrast thresholds, and the boundary of every interactive control against the 3:1 one. The build reports the worst pair on the site; today it is above the requirement.
  • Every page can be operated from the keyboard alone. There is a skip link as the first stop, focus is always visible, the sector tabs move with the arrow keys, and closing the mobile menu returns focus to the button that opened it.
  • Every page is complete with JavaScript switched off. The sector tabs become stacked sections and every link still works.
  • Every image carries alternative text, and images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
  • If your system asks for reduced motion, it is honoured: the rotating hero stays a still photograph and nothing animates into view.
  • Text reflows to a phone screen without a horizontal scrollbar, and the page can be zoomed without losing content.

Where a 360° tour falls short

A virtual tour is a visual medium and we are not going to claim otherwise. Panning around a panorama needs JavaScript and a pointer or keyboard, and it conveys nothing useful through a screen reader. That is a real limit, not an oversight we intend to fix with a setting.

What we do instead: every tour on this site shows a still photograph of the space with a written description before you open it, and that still and its description remain available if the viewer will not run. On client work we will write a fuller text description of a space on request, at no charge.

What we have not done

This statement is based on our own automated and manual testing. We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit of this site, and we are not going to imply that we have. An audit is something we will arrange for client projects that need one.

If something does not work

Tell us, and we will fix it. Email is below. Describe the page and what happened; you do not need to know the technical name for it. We treat an accessibility fault as a fault, not a feature request.

Start here

Let's see what your space can do.

Tell us what you have and what it needs to achieve. We work to the budget you have — and we would rather price it so the first job earns its keep and you come back, than sell you more than the space needs.

We usually reply the same working day.
