What we do with your data.

This website collects nothing about you

There are no analytics on this site, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no third-party scripts that profile visitors. We do not know which pages you read or how long you stayed, and we have not built ourselves a way to find out.

The pages are files on a web server. Reaching them leaves the ordinary trace any web request leaves — your address in the host's server log, kept by them, not read by us and not joined to anything else.

What you send us on purpose

The quote form asks for your name, company, email, phone, the address or town of the space, its rough floor area, when you would like it captured, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing is required except your name and email, and nothing is collected that you have not typed.

When you press send, the form posts to this website. Your answers are written into a database on this server, you get a short acknowledgement with a reference number, and the enquiry is emailed to us. It is written down before the email is attempted, on purpose: an email that fails to send is a delay we can see and fix, where an enquiry that was never kept would simply be gone.

That stored copy holds what you typed and the time you sent it, and nothing we did not ask you for. Your IP address is not part of it. Only named accounts we have created can read it, each sign-in is logged, and the database file sits outside the public part of the server so no address on this website leads to it.

• We use it to answer you and to price the job, and for nothing else.
• We do not add you to a mailing list. There is no newsletter to unsubscribe from.
• We do not pass it to anyone who is not working on your enquiry. If a job needs someone we work with, you are told who they are before anything is shared.
• If the enquiry does not become a job we delete the stored copy, and the emails with it, once it is clear nothing is coming of it — within a year at the outside. If it does become a job, the paperwork is kept as long as Danish bookkeeping law requires.

Imagery we capture at your premises

A capture records your building as it stood on the day. That is the deliverable, so we hold it, but it is yours: you decide where it is published and you can tell us to take it down or delete it at any point.

People are not the subject and we would rather they were not in frame. Where a space cannot be emptied we capture out of hours, and where someone ends up in a panorama anyway we blur them on request without argument. If you would like a written data processing agreement before we come, ask and we will send one.

Who else is involved

The pages are served by our hosting provider, on hardware they run. The enquiry database described above sits on that same hardware, so they are the one company other than us with physical access to it. They can also see the ordinary traffic any host sees.

Email is the one thing that genuinely passes through another company: our email provider carries your message to us and our reply back to you.

One request on every page goes somewhere else — the typefaces. The pages ask fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com for two fonts, which means Google can see your IP address and browser when a page loads. Everything else comes from us: the photographs, and the viewer and panoramas of every tour we host ourselves, are served from this domain.

The company that hosts the tours

The 360° tours are hosted by Matterport, the tool we capture them with, and a tour plays here inside a frame from my.matterport.com. Opening one puts your browser in touch with them: they see your IP address, your browser, and which tour you opened, and they may set a cookie of their own, exactly as if you had opened the tour on their own site.

Nothing of theirs loads until you press play. The card you see before that is a photograph served from this domain, so reading the page involves them not at all.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address below and we will do it. You do not need to give a reason and it does not cost anything.

In practice what we hold is the enquiry you sent through the form, our email correspondence with you, and — if you became a client — the imagery and the paperwork for the job. Quote the reference number from your acknowledgement and we can find all of it.

If you think we have handled your data badly and we have not put it right, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.
