Nothing is stored in your browser

No page of this website sets a cookie. None of them uses local storage, session storage or any other way of keeping something on your device between pages or between visits. You can check: open your browser's developer tools on any page here and the cookie list is empty. The one exception is the staff sign-in, which is not a page of the website and is described below.

That is also why there is no cookie banner. A banner exists to collect consent for storage and tracking, and there is none here to consent to.

No analytics, no advertising

We run no analytics product of any kind, and no advertising or remarketing tags. We cannot tell you how many people read this page, because we did not build ourselves the means to find out.

One cookie behind the staff login

There is an administration area at /admin where we read the enquiries that come in and edit the wording of the site. Signing in there sets a single cookie, which holds the session and expires after twelve hours or when the browser is closed. It is set only after a member of staff signs in, and a visitor to the public site is never given it.

We mention it because a cookie policy that says “none” while one exists somewhere on the domain would be untrue.

Two other companies

The pages load two typefaces from Google Fonts. Google does not set a cookie for a font file, but the request itself tells Google your IP address, your browser and which page asked. If you would rather that did not happen, blocking fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com leaves this site fully readable — the stylesheet names ordinary system typefaces as the fallback.

The 360° tours are the other. They are made and hosted with Matterport, the tool we capture them on, and a tour is shown here in a frame from Matterport's player at my.matterport.com. Nothing of theirs is loaded until you press play on a tour: until then the card is a still photograph served from this domain. Once you do, their player may set cookies of its own and will see your IP address and browser, the way it would if you opened the tour on their site.

Reading the pages, looking at the photographs and using the quote form involve neither company.
